Its climate is cool, so the Old Growth Pine Taiga gets rainfall. In technical terms the game tracks it with a temperature value of 0.3 and the biome ID minecraft:old_growth_pine_taiga.

Its defining terrain features are giant 2x2 spruce trees, podzol ground and mossy cobblestone boulders. Features massive 2x2 spruce trees and podzol ground cover. Mossy cobblestone boulders dot the landscape. Previously called Giant Tree Taiga.
