Flower Forest

Contains nearly every flower type in the game. The best biome for collecting dye materials. Rabbits spawn here instead of wolves.
Overview
The Flower Forest biome is an uncommon biome that takes a little searching to find, generated in the Overworld dimension and classed as a temperate biome. Its climate is mild and temperate, so the Flower Forest gets rainfall. In technical terms the game tracks it with a temperature value of 0.7 and the biome ID minecraft:flower_forest.
Its defining terrain features are dense flowers, birch and oak trees and hilly terrain. Contains nearly every flower type in the game. The best biome for collecting dye materials. Rabbits spawn here instead of wolves.
The Flower Forest biome was added to Minecraft in 1.7.2 and is still generated in version 1.21. Like all Overworld biomes it is shaped by the surrounding temperature and humidity, so the exact borders of any Flower Forest you find will shift from world to world.
Where to find it
The Flower Forest biome only generates in the Overworld. It commonly borders Forest, Birch Forest and Meadow, so finding any of those is a good sign you are close.
Look for a forest carpeted in many flower colours at once; that density only happens here.
If cheats or operator permissions are available, the fastest method is the command “/locate biome minecraft:flower_forest”, which points you to the nearest Flower Forest and gives its coordinates. Without commands you have to explore for the Flower Forest on foot: because it is uncommon, ordinary travel through the Overworld will usually reveal one before long.
Mobs
On the peaceful side, the Flower Forest biome is home to Cow, Pig, Sheep, Chicken and Rabbit. The Cow, for example, drops leather and beef and can be milked with a bucket. Together they make the Flower Forest a useful place to gather food, leather and other animal drops.
Blocks & resources
The blocks that give the Flower Forest biome its character include Allium, Azure Bluet, Blue Orchid, Cornflower, Lily of the Valley, Orange Tulip, Pink Tulip, Red Tulip, White Tulip and Oxeye Daisy. Within the Flower Forest, Allium, Azure Bluet, Blue Orchid and Cornflower are the most useful to gather early, whether for building, crafting or decoration.
Players typically visit the Flower Forest biome to collect wood from its trees and flowers for dyes, which makes it a worthwhile stop for stocking up on several resources at once.
Structures & features
No generated structures are tied to the Flower Forest biome, so exploring it rewards you with its dense flowers and scenery rather than buildings to loot. Generation that ignores biome boundaries, such as mineshafts, dungeons and the occasional stronghold, can still be dug up beneath the Flower Forest.
